1. Who we are

Pawhaven is a marketplace that connects pet owners with independent pet care providers for services such as dog walking, pet sitting, overnight sitting, boarding, drop-in visits, grooming, pet taxi, training, and daycare.

Pawhaven is not a veterinary clinic, employer of providers, insurer, or emergency service. Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Pawhaven, unless we say otherwise in writing.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Bookings

A booking is an agreement between the pet owner and the provider for a selected service, date, time, duration, pets, and location details shown in the request.

Providers may accept or decline requests. Until a request is accepted, there is no confirmed booking.

4. Payments, fees, and refunds

Owners pay through Pawhaven using the payment methods we support when payments are enabled. Do not pay providers off-platform for bookings made through Pawhaven.

A platform service fee may be added to the provider’s price. The amount due is displayed before you confirm a booking. Refund timing depends on cancellation rules shown in the app.

5. Live walk tracking

For dog walking, location may be collected during an active booked visit to show route, distance, and progress. Tracking is intended only for that visit.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as available. Pawhaven does not guarantee that a provider, pet, or visit will be free from injury, property damage, loss, or illness. Call emergency services first when needed, then notify support@pawhaven.app.
